I started to play when I was 12 years old. Got my first guitar from my grandmother and cut the two brightest strings because I wanted it to be a bass guitar.

My first band with Ulf Jenevall was formed when we were thirteen, and was called Frenzy. After a while I played in different bands in Gothenburg; Korsdrag, Bobcats and Tvärdrag. When I was 18, I started playing with Jerusalem which I have continued to do over the years. Now and then I play with different artists. In the beginning of the 1990'ies, I had the opportunity to work with swedish artist Carola Häggqvist.

My two favorite basses are my Peavey Dynabass Unityseries. I also have a fretless Peavey Foundation, a Neville Accoustic bass and an Epiphone Half-accoustic bass. My strings are Elixir 0.45-1.05. I normaly play on Ampeg bassamps and Ampeg 8x10 speakers. My pedals are: Sansamp Bassdriver DI Tech 21, Boss Chorus CE-2 and a Moog Taurus bass pedal syntheizer.

My first big influences were Deep Purple and later on Whitesnake. I also used to listen to Rush and Yes. In the early eighties we played at a festival in England were we shared stage with U2, who I have liked very much ever since.
